Siding breakdown
What can you expect?

Payment terms: Upon start of project our lead crew member will collect the remaining 50% percent down deposit.  Upon completion of project our lead crew member will present you with a final invoice and will be expected to collect the remaining balance owed.

Dumpster location: Our Dumpster is Approx. 6x15 in Dimension and is a commercial roll off type. We prefer to put this in the driveway so that it's as close to the home as possible for our crew members easy access.
 
Siding Material location: The Siding package is roughly 12ft long by 4ft wide and will need to be placed in the drive way along side of dumpster so that our employees have easy access to it.  If you happen to have another desired location please let our lead crew member know ahead of time.

Honey Bucket: The honey bucket can be placed anywhere on the job, most commonly we will place it next to the dumpster and materials due to it's small size.

Equipment: The siding equipment will be delivered upon start of job. It will be placed around your house as needed. Please keep children away from the equipment for their own safety.


Electrical access: We will need access to two power sources, preferably one on the front of home and back of home running from two separate circuit breakers since our tools will be drawing more power then one circuit can handle.

Water shut off: We will need to locate your water main shut-off in the unlikely event your existing plumbing should get damaged during the siding replacement.

Screens: We ask that you please remove all screens from your windows.  During the reside it is very easy for these screens to become snagged and damaged by the old siding or by a nail. It is easier to remove the screens then it is to replace the them.

Wall hangings and decor: Please remove all pictures and mirrors from the walls we will be working on. Also remove any decor in china cabinets etc. to eliminate possible damage from vibrations caused by the replacement process.

Plants:  Please keep in mind that we will be working around landscaping and plants. We will take precautions to eliminate damage to plants by tying them back or covering them with buckets or garbage cans. Please trim back any plants that are directly up against the house a minimum 6'' clearance.

Lien Disclosure Notice: You will be receiving a certified letter ÃÆ’Ãĉ€ ’ÃĮՉ€ ’Ãâ€ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâ€Ãƒâ€¦Ã‚¡ÃƒÆ’â€Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢€ÃƒÆ’ƒÆ’Æ’Ãĉ€ ’ÃĮբ€ÃƒÆ’ĉ€Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¦ÃƒÆ’Æ’Ãĉ€Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢€ÃƒÆ’ĮՉ€Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¦ÃƒÆ’¢€ÃƒÆ’…â€Ã…“Notice of Intent to Lien'' from our siding supplier. THIS IS NOT A LIEN. All siding materials are purchased on an account from our supplier. By law they are required to send this letter explaining the lien rights of our supplier.  At the completion of your job we will provide all necessary lien releases.

Work Hours: We typically work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon-Fri. and occasionally Saturday if we fall behind schedule due to unseen circumstances. If you would like those hours changed for any reason please let us know and we will do so.

Construction debris: It is our company policy that at the end of each work day we will clean the job site throughly and use a rolling magnet to pick up any loose nails for your safety.  As a precaution please inspect your driveway for nails that we may have missed during our clean up stage.

Job signs: On the start of project we will be placing a company sign in your yard for advertising. If this is an issue or you have HOA guidelines please inform us and we will not put out our sign.

Extra materials: Please keep in mind that you are paying for the siding materials installed on the wall. Any extra materials have been purchased at our expense and will be picked up at the end of the job.

Alarm system: If you have an alarm system, please make arrangements with your provider or technician to have the system prepared for a remodeling job. 

Gas safety valves: Some homes are equipped with an earthquake sensor attached to the gas meter. Light remodeling work may trigger the sensor to deactivate your gas line. Please review your gas meter instructions for re-setting this sensor.

Cable and Satellite dishes: Upon completion of your project please make arrangements with your satellite or cable provider to re-set and reconnect your service after work has been completed.
